In my personal opinion, the Border Terrier is "the best kept secret" of the pure bred dog world!!!

We welcomed our first Border into our family to be a Junior Handling dog, nothing too serious.  Something for the kids to have fun with.  I decided a Border would be a great breed to add to our crazy house because they are tough as nails, rugged and strong.  Sounded perfect to be play mates with our boxer kids.

I was completely right.  Lexus fit in like she had always been there.  The Boxers loved her, even our cat liked her.  We would quite often find Lexus off hunting in the bushes around the yard with the cat.  Or off keeping up with the boxers in a fun game of chase.

In that instant, my love for the Border Terrier began.
